Our mission is to reflect quality and authenticity both in the company’s performances and in our MadayArt II. work.
Besides teaching and supporting young talents, our goal is to maintain the values of contemporary dance for the next generation internationally.
MadayArt's productions require a high level of dance technique and body-awareness, strong stage presence and extremely conscious way of moving. We believe that, by an in-depth study of the body’s capacities, a dancer can become a genuine medium for conveying content.
In our unique choreographies the performers can rule and form the stage by their precise, articulated movements and by maximizing the use of the space, thus letting our audience perceive endless dimensions.
In the Hungarian contemporary dance scene, our company stands out with delivering high-standard productions. Our goal is to build and develop MadayArt Brand across borders, and popularizing it on international cultural festivals respectively.
Our yearly growing repertoire aims to enchant our audiences with the beauty and pervasive power of “pure dancing”.

WHAT DOES MadayArt REPRESENT?
MadayArt II.
MadayArt II. offers a 9 month daily 5 hours unparalleled opportunity to young dancers from across the world, to engage in some of the best professional trainings and into the world of MadayArt. The main goal of MadayArt II. is to create a professionally unquestionable international standard in contemporary dance. Starting the season in September 2024 we give a deep insight into different ways in which choreographers work, giving the opportunity to our dancers to expand their professional skills for their future and work on the repertoires and new creation with Maday Tímea Kinga. Dancers will have the privilege to expand their view on how a company works. We are strongly working on inviting members of world famous companies whose best interest is similar to our belief. We invite collaborators to share the love and passion, the respect and support for this wonderful profession. We believe that having a well focused daily work and creation period is very important in order to fulfill our dancers' needs. We will be concentrating on workshops, creations and a repertoire work. Adding intensive workshops will also increase the possibility to grow into a professional. This way, dancers can strongly dive into the work and deepen their studies and research. We think that having a deep knowledge, a strong base in techniques and to be as versatile as possible is the key to fulfill the dream of becoming a real professional. We invite dancers and dance students ages 18-years and up to spend a season with us in Budapest and take part in our 10month intensive.

ELIGIBILITY & CURRICULUM
MadayArt II. is perfect for dancers and dance students from across the world who are looking for a top-level pre-professional dance course in order to advance in their future career as professional dancers. The program provides an excellent stepping stone and platform to develop on a highly-professional caliber, with the goal to take you to the next level. Participants can also be in their gap year between high school and university, currently pursuing a B.A. or B.F.A. degree in dance, in the midst of a dance academy program, have graduated from such a program, or have not studied dance in a secondary education level and seeking a springboard into a career in dance. MadayArt’s aim is to create one of the most exciting and cutting-edge dance centers, run by artists from all over the world. Each collaborator of the program comes to motivate the dancers to aim for the impossible and push the boundaries of what is possible.

HOW TO AUDITION:
STEP 1: Fill in our application form, where you can attach your video link
STEP 2: SUBMIT your application

In the video you must include:

An introduction of yourself with a few sentences in english, followed by explaining the reason why you would like to join MadayArt
-

· Ballet exercises in the center
· Contemporary technique and improvisation – you must include standing and floor material
If you choose to put a group work into your application video, make sure the management is clearly able to recognize who you are!
NOTE
EACH APPLICANT WILL BE INFORMED WITHIN 72H AFTER RECEIVING THEIR APPLICATION!
ACCEPTED DANCERS WILL NEED TO SEND THEIR SIGNED STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT AND TRANSFER THEIR FIRST INSTALLMENT WITHIN 2 WEEKS AFTER RECEIVING THEIR ADMISSION E-MAIL!
Please note that your spot will be reserved when you send the documents and the first payment. If we don't receive it in time, we will offer your spot to someone else. Please let us know as soon as possible also in case you decide not to attend MadayArt.
After receiving your signed statement of commitment and your transfer, you are registered and expected to attend the program.
